Do I still own the rights to my book if I publish with AuthorCrossing?
Yes. You always retain ownership of the rights to your book when publishing with AuthorCrossing. Unlike traditional publishers,
you keep the rights after the book is published.
Can I publish my book with AuthorCrossing and another publisher,
too?
Yes. Since you retain the rights to your book, you can publish your materials with
another publisher, sell the rights to a movie company, or anything else you wish
to do with the material.
We do not have restrictions if your book is currently available through another
publisher, or if you wish to publish your book elsewhere in the future. The only
limitation is that you cannot use book files generated by AuthorCrossing in their finished
form and print the book with exactly the same design with another publisher.

It costs nothing to publish a book with AuthorCrossing; sign up and start publishing today for free. There is no cost to register
with our Web site and create your account. There is no cost to use our publishing
wizard to turn your work into a published book.
Once your book is published, you can purchase it if you wish, but there is no obligation.
We have additional goods and services that you can also purchase through our Services
Store, but again, there is no obligation. But, the basic publishing experience of transforming
your manuscript into a finished book is always completely free.

Does AuthorCrossing have a price list of its services?
No, we do not.
However, all of our products

Services Store. Each item lists the price along with additional details
about that item. You can search or browse the Services Store by category to find
the type of service you're interested in, from editing to cover design to marketing

Can I publish a non-English book with AuthorCrossing?
Yes. Any language can be published through AuthorCrossing as long the font used is one that we can support. Check on our allowable font
list to ensure the font used in your manuscript supports the characters of the language.
Can AuthorCrossing publish my book if I live outside of the United
States?
Yes. Authors all over the globe can publish with AuthorCrossing. We currently have worldwide
distribution and printers in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Does AuthorCrossing edit my book?
Our standard free publishing does not include any editing services; however, we
do offer our professional editing services through our
Services Store. We urge you to check out the details, because editing is
an important step in publishing a quality book. A professional copy
editor will add a finishing touch of expertise to your manuscript by catching any grammar,
spelling and punctuation errors that you may have overlooked.
Will AuthorCrossing promote my book?
Our standard publishing service includes listing your book on our bookstore Web
site. Additional
promotional services can be purchased separately from our á la carte
service menu. Take advantage of our promotional specialists and marketing materials
available through AuthorCrossing to expose your book to a concentrated or wide-ranging market.
Who will be able to purchase my book?
People all over the world will have access to your book through the AuthorCrossing Bookstore.
Individuals and retailers can purchase your book directly through our bookstore online, or you can purchase your book(s) at a discounted rate for resale. But if you wish to reach an even wider audience and increase the marketability of
your book, you can choose to make your book available through
channel distribution. This allows thousands of retailers, such as amazon.com,
Barnes & Noble and Borders to access your book through their own suppliers
and list it on their Web sites.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of books that I can
or must order?
No, there neither a minimum order requirement, nor a maximum order limit. As a print-on-demand publisher,
we allow you the freedom to order as many or as few books as you wish. AuthorCrossing
does not require you to purchase any books, unlike some other self-publishers, which
leaves many authors with the added cost of books, not to mention the hassle of storing
unneeded books. With AuthorCrossing, you can order books as needed. The books are printed
and shipped in the same amount of time it takes to place any online order.
