We will calculate and adjust the book cover spine for you during the AuthorCrossing publication
process -- you're not required to do it yourself. However, we understand that for
the extreme do-it-yourselfer, the challenge of designing your own cover could be
something you're willing to tackle. If you're up for the task, we will accept your
fully-designed cover, as long as it meets our technical requirements.
If you wish to calculate the width of your spine, you can download the guide, provided by Wordclay, for
your book size. You must know the exact page count of your formatted and finished
manuscript file, or galley, before you can determine the exact spine width.
